Foothills Woodcrafters was established in 2004 by Tom Brock. We
design and manufacture custom cabinets for residential and
commercial applications. We also provide proprietary products
for other manufacturers as well as any woodworking that fits our
capabilities.
Tom Brock grew up in the kitchen cabinet business working summers
and after school in his father’s custom cabinet shop. He
attended North Carolina State University earning his BS degree in
Wood Science and Technology in 1969. Tom‘s entire career since
then has been
centered around the woodworking business.
Foothills Woodcrafters is extremely proud to have a
staff of workers
and consultants with vast amounts of experience and talent.
For many who have done business with “Oyama Cabinet”, they are now
associated with Foothills. George Ritchie and Donald Lail can
be reached through this website. Please see our ‘Staff’ page
for more details.

Our 10,000 square foot manufacturing plant and showroom is
located
near Hickory, North Carolina. We have many traditional
woodworking tools as well as some computer controlled equipment.
Much of our work is performed in the metric system because we
believe it provides more accuracy and closer tolerances. Not
to mention it is much easier to use. Part of our equipment
includes a finishing booth which allows us to apply and control the
finish of our products. With all this and our highly talented
and experienced employees it is possible for us to produce almost
any design.
We build a wide range of products from very high end to more mid
range. Our job is not to just build cabinets, but to provide an
experience the customer will enjoy. Our business has grown
because of the recommendations we have received from our customers.
